Turkish wire rod exports slump in October
Following their surge in September, Turkish wire rod exports decreased again in October, falling 41% on-year to 70,016 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They also decreased sharply from 150,008t in August and 157,661t in September.
Their average price was $689/tonne, down from $808/t in October 2021 but up from $676/t in September 2022.
