Turkey’s wire rod exports quadruple in March
Turkish wire rod exports grew year-on-year for the sixth consecutive month in March, more than quadrupling to 134,709 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The export volume was, however, down from 142,800t in February.
The average price was $617/t, versus $737/t in March 2023 and $628/t in February 2024.
