Turkish wire rod exports continue decline in January
Turkish wire rod exports continued their slump into the new year. They fell 20.8% on-year to 46,096 tonnes in January, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This is, nevertheless, up from 31,726t in December 2022.
The average price was $699/tonne, versus $825/t in January 2022 and $689/t in December 2022.
