Turkey’s 2021 rod exports grow despite December fall
Following their surge in October and November, Turkish wire rod exports fell by 12.4% on-year to 103,960 tonnes in December, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The December tonnage was also a fall from 112,382t in November.
Their average price, however, rose to $802/tonne from $508.6/t in December 2020 and $776/t in November 2021.
