Turkey’s wire rod exports recover in February
After falling sharply in January, Turkish wire rod exports recovered in February, rising 36.2% on-year to 93,889 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The February tonnage was also a significant increase from 58,207t in January.
Their average price rose to $799/tonne from $600/t in February 2021, but fell from $825/t in January 2022.
