Turkey’s rod exports slump in April
Turkey’s wire rod exports slumped 31.1% on-year in April to 96,092 tonnes, also falling 34.6% from March, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
Their average price, nevertheless, rose to $874/tonne versus $686.5/t in April 2021 and $798/t in March.
