Turkey’s rod exports fall sharply in January
Turkish wire rod exports fell sharply, by 43% on-year to 58,207 tonnes in January, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The January tonnage was also a significant fall from 103,960t in December 2021.
Their average price, however, rose to $825/tonne from $519.5/t in January 2021 and $802/t in December 2021.
