Turkey registers record-low wire rod exports in March
Turkish wire rod exports continued their slump in March. They fell sharply to 32,555 tonnes from 145,731t last year, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. This was also down from 46,096t in January and 50,282t in February.
The average price was $737/tonne, versus $798/t in March 2022 and $699/t in February 2023.
