Italian pig iron prices fall slightly
Italian pig iron prices are decreasing in the latest contracts by some $20/tonne compared to the beginning of February. Demand is said to be average, with Ukrainian producers remaining absent from Italy apart from one 30,000-tonne vessel rumoured to be expected at the port of Marghera, Italy’s main steel hub.
