Zydeco initiates open season for new Louisiana pipeline
Zydeco Pipeline Co, the Shell Pipeline-Shell Midstream Partners joint venture, has this week initiated a non-binding open season for a proposed Houma, Louisiana, to St. James, Louisiana, crude oil pipeline.
A non-binding open season, as opposed to a binding season, means shippers sign a non-binding contract for how much pipeline capacity they want, Kallanish notes.
