Zunyi Fuxin to upgrade steelmaking process
Fuxin Special Steel in Zunyi city Guizhou province plans to upgrade its steelmaking equipment and the project to do this is under environmental assessment, Kallanish notes.
The project has investment of CNY 297.33 million ($43.2m) and the capacity will remain the same as before at 1.66 million tonnes/year of steel billets and 1.58m t/y of steel products. The steelmaking process will become more efficient however, the company says.
