Zongheng Steel completes blast furnace, converter
Hebei’s Zongheng Steel completed the construction of its No.3 2,314m³ blast furnace and No.3 173-tonne converter on 5 July, Kallanish notes. These facilities are part of its Fengnan plant project.
Zongheng Steel plans to put the two facilities into trial production from 6 July to 6 October, and the No.3 BF was successfully tapped on 7 July. The second phase of the Fengnan project containing these two facilities is expected to be commissioned by Jul…
