Zimbabwe’s SIMBI to hike DRI, sections capacity

Zimbabwe-based Sponge Iron Mining and Beneficiation Industries (SIMBI) is planning to invest $130 million in three phases to expand both its steelmaking and direct reduced iron production. The phases will be commissioned gradually until full operation by end-2023, Kallanish notes.
