Zhoushan Port tops 100m t/y iron ore capacity
The second phase of Zhongzhai Ore Wharf in Zhoushan Port has passed the completion acceptance. The wharf is now the largest ore transfer terminal in both Ningbo Port and in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province.
Construction work began in April 2018, including one 300,000-tonne bulk berth, one 50,000t berth and one 35,000t berth. Of that, the quay structure of the 300,000t berth was designed to allow upgrade to 400,000t class.
