Zhoukou Steel orders thick slab casters from CERI
Zhoukou Steel, a subsidiary of China’s state-owned Anyang Iron & Steel in Henan, has ordered two slab casters from Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited (CERI), Kallanish notes.
One caster can produce plate in a thickness of no more than 320mm, and a width of 1,500-2,800mm. The other one can produce plates with a specification of 460mm by 1,500-2,600mm.
