Zhongtai Nickel-iron invests in ferrochrome
China's Inner Mongolia Zhongtai Nickel-iron has begun building the second phase of its high carbon ferrochrome lines in May 2018. As China is encouraging both ferrochrome and chrome stainless steel production, this steel plant is expected to fill a gap for ferrochrome production in China, Kallanish notes.
