Zhongnan Steel takes over Echeng Steel
China Baowu Group subsidiary Zhongnan Iron & Steel has taken over the 51% ownership of Echeng Iron & Steel which previously belonged to Baowu's Wuhan Iron & Steel Group (Wisco or Wugang). Zhongnan Iron & Steel has thus become the controlling shareholder of Echeng Iron & Steel, Kallanish notes.
Wisco previously held 74.84% of Echeng Iron & Steel, and the remaining equity is directly held by China Baowu Group…
