Zhanjiang Steel starts coated coil production
China's Baowu Group’s Guangdong subsidiary, Zhanjiang Steel, has put its first colour-coated steel line into production.
This line was installed at Zhanjiang Steel's 1,550mm cold-rolling plant and started construction in October 2020. Zhanjiang will thus add 210,000 tonnes/year of colour-coated steel for construction capacity, Kallanish notes.
