Zekelman completes Western Tube buy
Tube and modular construction company Zekelman Industries has finalised its buy of Western Tube & Conduit, Kallanish learns from a company release.
The proposed buy was announced in December. No financial details were released, though Zekelman notes that Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation was formerly the majority shareholder of Western.
The Long Beach, California-based company has an annual production capacity of about 240,000 short tons/year.…
