Zaporizhstal reduces steel production in April

Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal, partially owned by Metinvest, reduced its output of steel in April, the company says. The plant reduced crude steel production by -34.5% on-year to 223,300 tonnes, Kallanish notes. Pig iron output fell by -27.4%, to 277,500t and rolled steel production was down by - 23.2% to 222,200t.
