Zaporizhstal's October steel output falls, pig iron up
Ukraine's Zaporizhstal registered a year-on-year decrease in both crude steel and finished steel production in October, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
Zaporizhstal's October finished steel production fell -6.9% y-o-y to 265,500 tonnes, crude steel output declined -12.1% to 292,500t. At the same time, pig iron production rose 17.8% to 372,400t, the steelmaker informs in a statement.
