Zaporizhstal continues to decrease steel, pig iron output
Ukrainian flat steel producer Zaporizhstal, partially owned by Metinvest, decreased crude steel production in February, the company says.
It produced 119,400 tonnes of crude steel, down by 62% on-year, Kallanish notes. Pig iron output also decreased by 65% to 125,200t, while rolled steel production fell 55% to 119,400t.
