Zaporizhkoks ramps up coke production in September
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks plant, part of Metinvest, increased production of blast furnace coke in September, the company says.
Output amounted to 68,000 tonnes, up by 3% on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-September the plant produced 643,400t, up 4.3% on-year.
In 2019 output amounted to 888,900t, up 5% on-year.
The plant recently began a scheduled upgrade of coke oven battery No.6 (see Kallanish passim). The investment amounts to UAH 90 million ($3.25m). Th…
