Zaporizhkoks coke output declines amid raw material shortages
Ukraine’s Zaporizhkoks plant, part of Metinvest, decreased production of blast furnace coke in January-August, following raw material shortages, the company says.
Output amounted to 466,700 tonnes, down by 19.3% on-year, Kallanish notes. In August alone production was 70,500t, less by 2.4% on-year.
In July, almost 69,900t of coke were produced, in June 68,390t, and in May around 68,000t.
