Zamin Ferrous takes legal action against Uruguay
London-headquartered Zamin Ferrous has filed a lawsuit against Uruguay over its failed investment in iron ore mine project, the country’s president Tabaré Vázquez told Uruguayan national media in a statement monitored by Kallanish.
"The Zamin Ferrous complaint amounts to $3.5 billion, but we are convinced that we will win this case. Uruguay has been working and ready to face this claim," Vasquez said.
