Taiwan steelmakers lift stainless prices for July
Taiwanese stainless steel producers Yieh United Steel (Yusco) and Tang Eng Steel will raise their stainless steel domestic and export prices for July, Kallanish notes. Affected by the rise in global nickel prices and the depreciation of the new Taiwan dollar, the production costs of Taiwanese stainless steel producers have rebounded.
