Yunnan Chenggang orders Danieli bar mill
Italian technology supplier Danieli tells Kallanish that Qujing Chenggang Steel Products in Yunnan province has ordered a two-strand rebar mill with 1.2 million tonnes/year of designed capacity.
The new line will produce rebar and round bar in diameters of 8-40mm for grades HRB 400E and 500E. The bar is produced at rates of up to 200 tonnes/hour, starting with 165mm billet with a weight of 2,500kg, Danieli says. Rebar from 8-22mm di…
