Yunnan approves Phoenix Steel EAF project
An official document from the Yunnan Provincial Government shows that the administration has given its approval for an electric arc furnace steel project of Qujing Iron & Steel Group Phoenix Steel to go ahead.
The company will build a 1 million tonnes/year electric arc furnace and a 300,000 t/y alloy steel production line, Kallanish notes. The supplier of the equipment is Italian technology company Tenova. Phoenix Steel will have …
