Yunfu to grow steelmaking capacity in 2024
The two main electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmakers in Yunfu in southern China's Guangdong province, Jinshenglan and Donghai Steel, will boost this city’s steelmaking capacity to over 7 million tonnes/year by the end of 2024. Guangdong province has released a plan to promote its advanced materials industry in the next two years, including the steel industry cluster in Yunfu.
