Yukun starts Danieli's QSP-DUE plant
Yukun Iron and Steel Group, in China's Yunnan province, has produced the first hot rolled coil on its new Danieli Quality Strip Production (QSP) line with Universal Endless Technology (DUE), Kallanish notes.
This steelmaker is able to produce 4.6 million tonnes/year of strips with thickness 0.8-24.5mm and width 900-1,500mm on this QSP-DUE line. This makes the strip line the highest-capacity mill of its type in the world.
