Yugang to auction iron & steel facilities
Yuzhong Iron & Steel (Yugang) under Jiugang Group has listed one ironmaking plant and one steelmaking plant for sale on the China Gansu Equity Exchange, Kallanish notes.
The ironmaking system includes two 420-cubic-metre blast furnaces with 1 million tonnes/year combined capacity, a dust removal system and other auxiliary equipment. The equipment was closed down and mothballed in 2017 in line with the national capacity resolving policy.
