Yongjin suspends projects in Indonesia, Jingjiang
China-listed stainless steel giant Zhejiang Yongjin has decided to suspend the construction of projects in Indonesia and Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province in China, Kallanish notes.
The company explains that the decision is subject to stainless steel’s slower-than-expected demand recovery in China. The restart and construction speec will be determined by the recovery of the economy and stainless steel demand, it says.
