Yonggang upgrades ironmaking and steelmaking facilities

One of the major long steelmakers in China’s Jiangsu province, Yonggang Steel, has announced that it will build three new blast furnaces and one converter. These will provide 3.61 million tonnes/year of iron capacity and 1.8m t/y of crude steel capacity respectively, Kallanish notes.
