Yongfeng Lingang commissions second blast furnace
Shangdong Iron & Steel Group subsidiary Yongfeng Lingang has successfully ignited the second blast furnace at its Linyi base, marking full production at the first phase of the project, Kallanish notes.
Yongfeng Lingang adjusted the two 1,750m³ BFs initially planned to two 1,350m³ BFs with a combined capacity of 2.44 million tonnes/year of hot metal. Shanghai Baoye started the construction on 6 July 2020.
