YK Steel postpones relocation plan to 2027
South Korea's YK Steel has decided to postpone its relocation plan, originally scheduled for completion this year, to 2027, Kallanish notes.
This delay means that YK Steel will continue operations in Busan for an additional three years while progressing the construction of its new facility in Dangjin. In July 2022, YK Steel and the Dangjin Municipal Government signed an investment agreement to relocate the Busan plant to Dangjin.
