Yili Steel resumes operations after downturn

China's Yili Steel in Xinjiang Province has resumed production following a market downturn. The mill stopped production in June along with numerous other mills in Xinjiang due to sluggish market demand, high inventories and falling steel prices, Kallanish notes.
