Yili Steel restarts No.2 BF
China's Yili Steel in Xinjiang Province has resumed production at its No.2 blast furnace, following the ignition of its No.1 BF last week.
Yili Steel has two 530 cubic-metre blast furnaces, with a combined capacity of 3,400 tonnes/day, Kallanish notes. The rebar rolling mill can reach daily output of over 3,000t.
