Yieh Hsing expects Taiwan's wire rod demand recovery
Sen-Long Chen, General Manager of Taiwan-headquartered long steel manufacturer Yieh Hsing Enterprise, said that wire rod demand in Taiwan will be deferred until the fourth quarter of the year, Kallanish notes from Yieh Corporation reports.
Chen explained this is due to low demand of both carbon and stainless steel wire rod, high inventory as well as global inflation. Currently, buyers in Taiwan have a low willingness to purchase.
