Yangtze River Delta arranges $10.86 billion railway investment
China Railway Shanghai Group has arranged CNY 68.6 billion ($10.86 billion) of investment in railway infrastructure construction in the Yangtze River Delta Region in eastern China for this year, 8.5% lower than last year’s investment plan and 23.9% lower than actual investment last year.
The above annual railway construction will require about 2.29 million tonnes of steel in 2022, Kallanish observes according to historical investment averages.
