Yanshan Steel replacement project receives EIA approval
Tangshan Yanshan Iron & Steel (Yanshan Steel) received approval last week from the Tangshan Ecological Environment Bureau for its blast furnace and converter capacity replacement project. The project includes construction of 1.05 million tonnes/year of iron capacity and 750,000 t/y of crude steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
