Yancoal plans NSW coal expansion
The Australian subsidiary of China's Yankuang Group, Yancoal, has reported on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that 2020 attributable run-of-mine (ROM) coal and saleable coal output was 3% and 8% respectively higher on-year. This is thanks to the minimal impact of Covid-19. It is also planning the expansion of the Mount Thorley Warkworth and Moolarben mines, Kallanish notes.
