Yancoal clarifies parent company acquisition
Hong Kong-listed miner Yancoal says it has resumed stock exchange trading, but major shareholder Yankuang Energy's bid to increase its shareholding in the coal firm has not been finalised.
Yankuang Energy said last month it would increase its stake in Yancoal at $3.60 per share by issuing H-share convertible bonds. The company already holds a 62.26% stake in Yancoal and if the total share capital remains unchanged, the remaining 37.74% stake will be trade…
