Yancheng Lianxin Steel plans new electric arc furnace
Yancheng-based Lianxin Steel plans a new electric arc furnace upgrade project, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province.
The company intends to construct a 100-tonne EAF between June 2023 and December 2024, with 750,000 tonnes/year of crude steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
