Xuzhou steelmakers are fined for pollution
According to the Xuzhou City Ecology Bureau on 8 July, two steelmakers have had penalties imposed due to emissions having breached standards, Kallanish notes.
Xuzhou Liguo Iron & Steel discharged dust, seriously polluting the air. The company was fined CNY 100,000 ($14,529).
