Xuzhou to complete steelmaker integration
Jiangsu’s Xuzhou municipal government plans to shut down five steelmakers by 30 June 2020, which are currently in a transitional period of production, Kallanish notes. Eighteen steelmakers in total will be integrated into two steel complexes (with three production plants), ten of which have already had equipment dismantled, according to an announcement on 19 March (see kallanish passim).
