Xuzhou accelerates steelmaker integration in 2020
China’s Xuzhou city government plans to accelerate integrating steel capacity from eighteen local steelmakers into two companies, according to an announcement on 19 March. The overall steel capacity in the city should be lowered by -30% in 2020, Kallanish notes.
