Xinyegang starts blast furnace and flat steel project
On 27 June, Xisai district in Hubei province held an opening ceremony for its core projects in the second quarter. Among them, Hubei Xinyegang Steel Company has several iron and steelmaking projects, Kallanish notes.
Xinyegang plans to invest CNY 500 million ($72.83m) for a new hot strip mill. The capacity could reach 500,000 tonnes/year. The construction involves building workshops, heating furnace, and a cooling bed.
