Xinjiang Yili Steel restarts production after overhaul
China's Yili Steel in Xinjiang Province has restarted production after the steelmaker announced various overhauls since early-November 2021.
It is now running two 530 cubic-metre blast furnaces, with a combined capacity of 3,400 tonnes/day, Kallanish notes. The rebar rolling mill also resumed production in late-February, with daily output over 3,000 tonnes.
