Xinjiang Xin’an to upgrade electric arc furnaces
Xinjiang Xin’an Special Steel is applying for official approval for the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of its electric arc furnace upgrade project.
The company intends to replace its existing two 75-tonne EAFs with a 120t one, Kallanish notes. Xin’an Steel will also equip it with one 120t ladle furnace and a billet caster.
