Xinjiang Aofan restarts ferrochrome output
Xinjiang Aofan Ferroaloys (Aofan) has resumed production of high carbon ferrochrome, Kallanish notes.
The halt in production had been caused by the refurbishment of its 25,000 KVA furnace. The equipment is mainly involved in the production of high carbon ferrochrome, with a production capacity of 24,000 tonnes/year.
